Nottingham East Midlands Airport provides three car-parking choices to suit your particular needs. Express Parking, otherwise known as Short Stay Parking, is for customers who require parking for 24 hours or less. It is perfect for people going on one day business trips, for those leaving for a tiny holiday, as well as for friends and family who need to meet you at the airport. The short stay car park is adjacent to the Airport terminal and works under a pay station system. Executive Parking, or Medium Stay Parking, is for passengers who need parking for up to four days. It is designed for passengers going to the many short and city break destinations provided by the airport. The Executive car parks are within walking distance of the terminal, but there is a free shuttle bus service running regularly if you wish to be conveyed to the terminal faster. Economy Parking, or Long Stay Parking, is for passengers who require parking a longer period of time, for 5 days or more. It is beneficial for those who are going on a longer holiday.
You can get a free quote online, or even book your parking, by filling out the online form. It’s never been easier to find discount parking.
Disabled Parking
Medium and Long stay passengers who have a disabled badge are
permitted to park in the short stay car park, usually for
less. Dedicated spaces are a short distance from the terminal.
Also, porters can help with luggage and provide assistance
to wheelchair passengers. The terminal front has a pick up
area for disabled persons. If you wish to pick up passengers,
you must park in the short stay car park because security
on the terminal front is extremely tightly controlled so
vehicles cannot go there to park and wait.
The Airport
East Midlands Airport is one of the fastest growing airports
in the UK. International business and travel opportunities
are available to people living across the Midlands region because
of the airport’s prime location in the centre of the
country. East Midlands Airport is expanding rapidly, as the
runway extension proves. The airport handles a large amount
of cargo. Actually, it is the third busiest airport in the
UK for cargo. From East Midlands passengers are able to travel
direct to some 50 destinations.
The airport is situated two miles from Junction 24 and one
mile from Junction 23a of the M1. The airport is in between
Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough and Leicester.
