Glasgow Airport
Glasgow International is located 13 km (8 miles) to the west of the city centre. It is Scotland’s busiest airport and the fourth busiest in the UK, carrying seven million passengers per year and flying to 40 scheduled and 50 charter destinations. The major airlines that provide service from this airport include British Airways, Air Canada, Air Malta, American Airlines, BMI British Midland, Continental Airlines, easyJet, Go, Icelandair, KLMuk and Scotairways.

Terminals
You can find the airport’s information desk on the first floor near the UK arrivals/departures area. Tourist information can be found at the tourist information desk in the international arrivals concourse. There you can obtain information on accommodation, events, and interesting places to visit. The left luggage facility can be found just outside the UK Arrivals area, which is signposted. Bureau De Change facilities are located throughout the terminal building and free trolleys can be obtained from designated areas in the terminal building and car parks. If you have lost something, it can be collected or left at the Airport Information Desk on the first floor. If you are travelling with a small child, four baby care rooms are located in the terminal building for your convenience. Also, any of the catering outlets can heat baby bottles and food.

General Information
If you enjoy watching aeroplanes, you can try to spot them at the north perimeter fence between Glasgow Flying Club and East Yonderton farm, which provides an open view of the runways and terminal area. Just note that it faces the sun for most of the day. Get there from the A726 Paisley - Erskine road. In addition, many shopping facilities are available within Glasgow Airport, such as health and beauty retailers, clothing retailers, newsagents and home electronics retailers. You might even be able to obtain some merchandise tax-free. Moreover, a vast selection of cafes, restaurants and bars are located in the airport for travellers’ convenience, as are several cash points and a Bureau de Change. Business booths and executive lounges are provided for business travellers. Also, numerous car hire agencies can be utilized on the premises.
