Leeds-Bradford Airport
Leeds-Bradford has 1.5 million passengers yearly and over 60,000
aircraft movements including domestic UK flights and flights to
other European gateways. Leeds, as the second largest metropolitan
district in the UK, extends 15 miles from east to west, and 13
miles from north to south. This wide boundary is 562 square kilometres
in total, two thirds of which is Greenbelt and affords some of
Yorkshire’s most beautiful scenery. Leeds Bradford Airport
is 9 miles north of Leeds’ city centre and has excellent
road access with buses to the Leeds and Bradford city centres,
rail stations, and taxis. This airport now offers a wide range
of direct UK and European flights with various national and international
carriers that offer worldwide connections as well. If you book
an economy flight more than 14 days in advance of your flight,
it might even be less expensive than rail travel to Leeds.
